Apprenticeship programmes for Emiratis are approved by the UAE Ministry of Education (MoE) and designed to support UAE Nationals in building successful and sustainable careers.

WHAT IS AN APPRENTICESHIP?

An apprenticeship is a work-study programme that combines practical on-the job training with a specific employer and structured classroom learning at a college.

HOW DOES IT WORK? 

Selected candidates are employed by an industry partner in the UAE, who sponsors them to study the Apprenticeship Programme for Emiratis at the Dubai College of Tourism (DCT).

Throughout the programme, candidates will divide their time between:

• Classroom learning at DCT (40%), where they gain the theoretical knowledge required for the profession.
• Practical workplace training (60%), where they apply their learning under the supervision of experienced industry professionals.

Successful candidates will join the programme with a full-time employment contract and will receive a monthly salary throughout the duration of the apprenticeship.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Any UAE National applicant who:

• Is 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates initiative, responsibility, and a strong work ethic.
• Has a genuine interest in building a career in the retail sector.

PROGRAMME BENEFITS:
